We are in full summer mode during June to September and the summer weather in the Dehcho region us usually very warm to hot. There is very little rain and temperatures get up to +38C!

The only challenge you may have is hiking to the lower part of Virginia Falls, so hiking shoes will be okay.

For clothing, comfortable active wear is recommended. The boat trip can get a little cool on the Mackenzie River, particularly for the June bookings, other than that, you can expect very warm temperatures and comfortable weather.

We definitely also recommend to wear a hat, the are many sunny days in the Dehcho during the summer, and for your day trip into the Nahanni National Park, you may want to bring a bug jacket.

Unfortunately pets are not allowed on these trips.
