Yellowknife’s BEST Hiking Tour!
Enjoy a northern Canada wilderness driving and hiking experience on our 3hr scenic drive and nature hike to the Cameron River Ramparts PLUS a short hike to the best viewing spot on Prelude Lake!
After we pick you up at your hotel or B&B, we head out of town on a scenic 50 minute drive through the wilderness of northern Canada on the Ingraham Trail to our destination.
When we arrive at the Walking Trail entrance, we do a last minute safety session and then we’re off on a short but very scenic 15 minute hike to the cascading Cameron River Ramparts. We will stop along the way to take beautiful photos of the local scenery.
Once we reach our destination, we will stay about 30 minutes for you to take wonderful photos and you and the cascading waterfalls. Explore the area, pick your spot, relax and enjoy the quietness of the wilderness, reconnect with Mother Nature, and reconnect with yourself.
On our hike back we will show you the different plants and hear our Indigenous guides talk about the plants, trees and berries. Listen to how we use some of these for our traditional medicines. Then the second part of the tour is we’re back on the highway to Prelude Lake for a short hike to the best viewing spot of the whole lake, and on the way we will take photos at scenic locations along the way.
