The Ultimate Great Slave Lake Experience

We are 100% Indigenous owned! See Yellowknife from the water just as famous explorers did over 250 years ago. By joining our tour, you will gain an authentic Yellowknife experience from the unique perspective of the Great Slave Lake—the deepest lake in North America. As we cruise, you will hear traditional stories and local history from our professional Indigenous local guides.

This 2.0-hour adventure is packed with northern heritage and culture. To start your journey, we offer a free tour transfer to the dock. Once on board, we will leisurely boat by the iconic houseboats and pass the busy docks of the local bush and sea planes.

Next, our journey takes us toward the Indigenous village of Dettah. After visiting the village area, we will boat out onto the vast, open waters of the Great Slave Lake to experience its true scale. To make your memories last, we also provide free professional photos and videos of your trip!

On our way back, we will stop at one of the many scenic islands for a light nature hike. This is a perfect time for more photography before we conclude with a beautiful ride through the famous and colourful houseboat community.
