Breathe in the cool, clean and fresh winter air of northern Canada as you get some healthy outdoor exercise! Enjoy the winter scenery of the snow covered forest and have fun as you go snowshoeing through the deep snow on the frozen lakes along the hike!
Listen to your Indigenous guide as they talk about our special relationships with the land and animals during the hike. They will talk about the different animal tracks you will see along the way and you may even see some wildlife like the rabbit, fox, lynx or wolf!!
After a refreshing hike through the winter wilderness, after having fun snowshoeing the deep snow of the frozen lakes and learning about the special relationships the Indigenous people’s have with the land and animals, you reach the top, where you will be rewarded with an amazing view where you can see for kilometres and kilometres in every direction! At the top enjoy a well deserved cup of hot chocolate and hot snack, mmmmmmm!
