Best ice road tour experience!
On this 1.0hr tour you will learn about and drive on the the ice road, the frozen Great Slave Lake! Learn about our Indigenous culture with a visit to the Indigenous village of Dettah (pop.250) 12kms away over the frozen Great Slave Lake!
When we are on the ice, we will stop of the van and shut it off and then listen and feel the ice crack beneath your feet! Includes pickup at hotel or b&b and return. If it is windy, it can get dangerously cold so make sure to dress warm!
At the end of the Ice Road tour, on our way back we will drive by the world famous Snow Castle where we can do a quick stop for photos and then take you back to your hotel or B&B. Some guests will choose to end their Ice Road tour here.
