We are 100% Indigenous owned!
Enjoy a relaxing boat ride on one of the largest the lakes in the world and deepest in all of North America, the Great Slave Lake! See Yellowknife and its surrounding scenery just as famous explorers saw it over 250 years ago, it still looks the same, incredible!
On this 2.0hr boat tour learn about the history of Yellowknife, the Indigenous people and the history of this area. Hear the stories from our Indigenous Dene guide, our Joe the Aurora Hunter on the tour!
On this tour, we will leisurely cruise around Back Bay and Yellowknife Bay, then we will pass by the Indigenous village of Dettah and then we will go further out on the Great Slave Lake and stop at one of the many islands to get some cool photos.
On our way back, as we cruise slowly on Yellowknife Bay we will boat right near the colourful houseboats and talk about this unique community of house boaters. We will be boating on the summer runways of the float planes and if we are lucky we may see these bush planes taking off or coming in for a landing.
