Learn about traditional fishnet fishing and how we fished before there was nets. We will demonstrate and explain how we use net to harvest fish from under the frozen ice, and we will identify the different kinds of fish we catch in the net. You can even help the Indigenous guides pull the net from under the frozen ice of the Great Slave Lake!
Then we go and warm up in our tent with hot drinks and watch our Indigenous guides prepare and cook the fish you just caught, fresh fish!! Enjoy delicious fish panfried to perfection served with our world famous (secret North Star recipe) Frybread! min 4; max 10 guests per tour.
