Experience genuine Aboriginal culture! Learn about traditional fishnet fishing and how we fished before there was nets. We will demonstrate and explain how we use net to harvest fish from under the frozen ice, and we will identify the different kinds of fish we catch in the net. You can even help the Aboriginal guides pull the net from under the frozen ice of the Great Slave Lake!
Then we go inside and warm up with hot tea, while you listen to stories from your Aboriginal guide. Then it’s time to eat, delicious fresh fish cooked in the traditional manner! Minimum 4 persons per tour.
